The closest airport from Leuven is Brussels Airport in Zaventem. The transport between the airport and Leuven is very good.

There are direct trains that goes  to Leuven city.

I stronly advise you to go druing that festival, you will have nice evenings on the cozy market place with a fresh cold Belgian beer in your hand!

I already went to Belgium and it was also an amazing time. But I didn´t went to Leuven, seems to be very nice there!

I am planning to go back  to Belgium, so a question for you about travelling to Belgium: Is Leuven easy to reach from the airport?

"Great time in Leuven in Belgium in Holiday Inn Garden Court Hotel "

I went last year to Leuven in Belgium during th  unfortunatelye summer when the festival Marktrock took place. I had my accommodation in the Holiday Inn Garden Court Hotel because there was no camping. The hotel was located in the centre of Leuven. It was a nice hotel, unfortunately I didn´t stay a lot in the hotel because the nightlife in Leuven is amazing. The pubs on the Grote markt are open till early in the morning. A lot of buses are driving in in the centre and the train station is also located in the centre.

"Garden Court Leuven "

The Garden Court Leuven Hotel is a very nice hotel. It´s close to Brussels airport.
The hotel is located near all the sights in Leuven and it´s really nice to explore the city.
The hotel is very clean and I liked the room a lot.
I really liked staying here and I´m thinking about going back there.
